Marine Grade #2205 steel — superior resistance

Our Heavy Duty 8″ spigots are manufactured from Duplex #2205 stainless steel with a PREN (Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number) of 35, nearly double that of standard 304 stainless steel (PREN ~18). This specification ensures exceptional resistance to pitting corrosion, essential in chlorinated environments (pools) and coastal areas (marine zones).
