Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about our glass railings, shipping, installation, warranty, and more.

Order & Shipping

How long does shipping take?

Orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Delivery typically takes 3–5 business days across Canada and 1–2 weeks in the U.S., depending on destination. Most orders ship the same week.

Is shipping free?

Yes — shipping is free on orders of $999 CAD or more (before taxes), everywhere in Canada and the contiguous U.S. Below that threshold, shipping is calculated at checkout. No hidden fees, no customs surprises.

Can I track my order?

Yes. As soon as your order ships you receive an email with tracking information, and you can follow your order anytime from your account.

What payment methods do you accept?

All major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Amex), Apple Pay and Google Pay. Every payment is SSL-secured.

Do you accept commercial or bulk orders?

Absolutely. For commercial projects and bulk orders, see our commercial glass railings page or contact us at (514) 952-2336 / info@groupeeno.com — wholesale pricing and dedicated support included.

Products

What glass thickness do you use?

All standard panels are 12 mm tempered safety glass certified to CAN/CGSB 12; our glass doors use 10 mm tempered glass. Tempered glass is 4 to 5 times stronger than standard glass — see why tempered glass is safer.

Are your products certified?

Yes. Our glass is certified to CAN/CGSB 12 and every panel carries a permanent bug stamp. Our hardware is machined from #2205 duplex marine-grade stainless steel and engineered around North American guard-load requirements (a 200 lb concentrated load and 50 lb per linear foot) — always confirm final requirements with your local building department.

What is the warranty on your products?

10 years on the glass, 10 years against corrosion on the #2205 duplex stainless hardware (engineered for a 20+ year service life), and 5 years on aluminum finishes.

What hardware finishes are available?

Two finishes: matte black and brushed satin. All spigots, connectors and clamps are #2205 duplex marine-grade stainless steel.

What are heavy-duty spigots?

Our heavy-duty option: oversized spigots machined from solid #2205 duplex stainless, ideal for windy areas and commercial projects. See spigots.

Installation

Can I install the railing myself?

Yes — most of our customers do. Every order includes step-by-step instructions, and a two-person crew typically completes 24 feet in 4–6 hours. Our DIY installation guide walks you through it.

What tools do I need?

Basic tools: hammer drill (for concrete) or cordless drill, level, tape measure, Allen key (included). Masonry bits for concrete, standard wood bits for wood framing.

Do you offer an installation service?

Not directly, but we work with a network of certified installers in select regions — contact us for a free referral. Any general contractor can also install the kit; pro accounts are approved within 24 hours.

What surfaces can it be installed on?

Concrete (4″+ thick), wood (composite or treated, in good condition, with proper blocking), steel and stone. We offer mounting systems for each surface type.

What if a part arrives damaged?

We replace any part damaged in transit, free and fast. Take photos and contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Customization

Do you do custom orders?

Yes — our free 2D configurator handles custom layouts (lengths, heights, stairs, corners, gates) with instant pricing. For special dimensions beyond the configurator, contact us.

What heights are available?

Standard finished heights: 36″, 42″ and 48″, with taller options for commercial projects. Requirements vary by application and jurisdiction — see our height requirements guide and confirm with your local building department.

What panel widths are available?

Standard panels: 4″ to 84″ in 1-inch increments. Pre-drilled panels (for gates): 24″ to 60″ in 2-inch increments.

Can you do staircases?

Yes — two ways: stepped panels (one per step or step group, automated in the configurator) or custom raked panels following the stair angle. Details on our glass stair railing page.

Can handrails be added?

Yes, as an option — aluminum or stainless, in finishes matching the hardware, priced per linear foot and configurable in the 2D configurator.
